Hello!
I'm in the Spokane area, bought my first split last March as the resorts shut down. I'm looking for partners to explore local mountains, e.g., Colvilles, Mica, Selkirks. This seems like it's going to be a great year to do it! I've just finished Staying Alive in Avalanche Terrain, am signed up for Avy 1 this winter through IPAC, have beacon, probe, shovel, and airbag, and would love to have partners to increase safety and learn from.

I'm planning on going to 49 North this weekend and would love to have some people join. Maybe do some beer can beacon practice too.

Hey! I’m up in the Sandpoint/Clark fork area and up for some tours or resort/side country stuff. Also, I’m will to drive and meet somewhere within a few hours as well!

Hello,
I’m also in Sandpoint. Avy I, II and extensive touring experience. I’m up for touring anywhere. No sled (yet).

Just picking this up. Thanks for the shout out. I ended up skinning up Schweitzer area and skiing off the back side. Hope you had a good tour.

Dan, judging by the email list it looks like we'll be in the same Avy 1 class up at Lookout hah! Done a handful of days up at the training grounds (opposite lookout) this past season but I'm basically in the same boat. Down for hooking up for some future tours with any of you fine folks tho!

How was it up there today btw?

hey, how was the backside? I went up on Friday to just work some
New boot issues out and was looking pretty sharky.....

That’s awesome about the class, maybe we’ll have to get in a tour before hand! Myself and 2 other guys from the group made a couple trips up the training ground area. There was good snow coverage, but not enough to hide everything yet, so there was plenty of dodging logs!
