Backcountry and avalanche safety

Backcountry skiing and splitboarding are inherently dangerous and should be undertaken with caution. The information on this website is intended only as general information. Due to human error and dates of publication (age) the information, maps and images contained within this website may be inaccurate, false, or out-of-date. Users of this information do so entirely at their own risk, and Panhandle Backcountry disclaims any liability for injury, injury resulting in death or damage to anyone undertaking a trip into any of the regions described. The information published on this website is no substitute for experience and good judgment.

The Service shows conditions for information only. It is not a forecast, a safety service, or a substitute for training, judgment and current official avalanche forecasts. Content, third-party content, descriptions and images, can be old, inaccurate or misleading, and may show avalanche terrain. You are responsible for your own decisions and safety.
