Thanks for letting me join the site. I am planning to move west in a couple years when my youngest graduates. Considering the panhandle of ID as one of a few options. Wherever we land it's going to be in a place where I can tour all winter. I started touring again last couple years and remember why I liked it so much in my 20's (I am 51 now). I love hearing about people's trips and it helps me narrow the list. Would love to come out and partner up with some people on trips as well. While I have experience touring as well as a lot of climbing experience from when I was younger, I am still getting reacquainted with the backcountry. My son and I are planning to take AIARE 1 class this winter.
