Suggestions anyone?

Everywhere but Mt Spokane? (although.. still 95" on top as of last week!) haha

What kind of objective are you looking for? Snowpack is several weeks better than last year and we're finding great coverage most places we've been out to recently. Snow was above the truck yesterday at Moon Pass.

That's good to hear. We were at the Burke substation last week and had to take our skis off a couple of times to cross dirt and creeks. Just looking to avoid a similar fate this weekend while still staying relatively close to home.

Bummer.. where did you guys head up from the substation? Is the main sled trail is melting out already? Love to see some photos or short TR with conditions update if you've got time! :D

Passes or ski areas are probably the safest bet for continuous snow from the car. Thompson Pass has skiing about a mile from the pass. Moon Pass has skiing right off the pass and this year coverage allows you to get up to Gold Hill (and Stevens Peak) from the South. I think we may give that a try tomorrow, perhaps with sled assist.

Could also be creative with a 4x4 truck and get at a number of the peaks around, as long as access is primarily South facing.
