Splitboards

    Curious... Who has opinions about what splitboards out there??
    I have several I'm eyeing, but just don't know yet..

  3. Im looking at both the Amplid Millisurf and Rossi Sushi for next year. The Millisurf looks to have the same geometry/camber as the Ultracraft, priced the same at $1200 but weighs in just slightly less. Not too confident about it's long-term durability considering Amplid chose to forgoe a topsheet to save weight. However it does look like they kept a small portion of the topsheet on around the edges of the board to protect when touring.

    The Sushi looks to be a classic "short-fatty". Not sure how well it would tour, but it looks fun as hell for the soft stuff. I was surprised after contacting Rossi and finding out that the msrp is only $549.

    I'm wishing Never Summer would split the Instigator.

    Yeah, I like some of Rossignol stuff, but they build in China, so it would be a ethical issue for me. LoL (yeah, entices from a guy who chooses to use sleds for access.. Ha).
    Amplid I find interesting, alas I also have concerns of durability.
