Hey folks.. S.O.L.E. just announced they will be holding their Level II avy course at Downing Mtn lodge just above Hamilton Montana. Needless to say, this will be a great local for an avy course with cush digs to stay.
Definitely one I have put in the books...

Remember, the purpose of a Level II is to progress your knowledge beyond basic recreational touring. It is also required that you have taken the Level I and put a year in practical experience before taking the Level II.

To anyone who is wondering the level to is a great way to learn how to record and communicate what is going on in the snow, if you like to geek out over pit data and weather than you should look into it. You can never have enough Avalanche knowledge!
