If our weatherman is wrong again and the snow doesn't come this week think I will take off next week for Whitefish and/or Fernie, maybe Whitewater. My plans are loose and flexible but roughly take off Sun or Mon and ski Whitefish lst day, then to Fernie or whatever. Plan on Hosteling it at Whitefish and Fernie, about $30 a night. Have 4x4 trk and can take all gear and total 3 people comfortably. Will need passport, if it snows good here locally probably stay here.
