Are you a regular skinner/bc skier at Mt Spokane? Want to help get more representation by backcountry skiers and splitboarders? The Friends of Mt. Spokane State Park Board of Directors is now looking for new members. This non-profit board has a maximum membership of 15 directors and serves as a link between the park manager and park visitors. It provides management recommendations to the park manager, organizes volunteer park projects, and raises funds to help fulfill management plans for improved facilities and education within the park. The group meets 3-5 times a year, and is looking for people who have a passion for Mt. Spokane and who can help represent recreational user groups as well as other interests including education, business, and environmental protection. If you are interested in applying, email a letter of interest and qualifications to Cris Currie, President, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline for applications is January 14, 2019.
