If this post seems familiar it is because I made liberal use of ctrl + p. @Patrick B and I thought it would be fun to bring back the BC Kickoff party from last year to welcome the season and get together some of the same + new rad folks who will be crushing powder in the Panhandle area.
Condition dependent, we most likely will be targeting mid-January (7th or 14th) in the Steven's Peak environs to be inclusive of all human powered recreationist. Also a nice intro to one of the more popular areas for those new to the Panhandle with different zones to check out.
If there is enough interest, we were thinking of assembling in the morning, then (with enough people) filtering into groups based on areas they would like to explore/skill/comfort level, followed by assembling back at the trailhead for some local brews (Maryhill Wine lol), grilling, and chilling. Obviously if people would like to contribute with BYOB and other food, the more the merrier.
So, if this post gets enough commitment to it, we can plan for rough numbers and move forward with it.
