Hey all amazing resource here. My first winter in Moscow I have been skiing at resorts for years (though mainly sad east coast/mid west stuff) but new to the backcountry. A lot of experience hiking, backpacking, climbing, but I have lots to learn. Open to any advice obviously starting slow.
