to anyone that’s interested there is now a site to log near misses with avalanches. Check out avalanchenearmiss.org to look at reports or submit your own, if you submit it is completely anonymous and it is a good way for everyone to learn from our mistakes. There isn’t a lot of reports yet but hopefully more people start using it soon. Stay safe out there!

Just a heads up, this was explained to us in Whitefish as a resource for avalanche workers. For this project, I don't think they want reports when off the clock.
