Atomic Backland Carbon Boot review

I recently bought a pair of the Atomic Backland AT boots. It's a two buckle boot that has a very unique heat moldable shell that's right, a heat moldable shell. The boot feels absolutely amazing since the liner and the shell are a perfect fit to my foot. I have skied once on them but this weekend I will get a chance to really test them in the North Cascades. The boot has a whopping 74 deg of movement in walk mode. And man does it feel great.

Awesome Sean! Looking forward to your thoughts after you get a few days on them.

What was your last backcountry boot?

Wonder how the lateral flex would be in those without the upper cuff strap.. thinking like a snowboarder?

image.jpeg image.jpeg I skied in them a lot this week in the North Cascades, and the boots are very stiff laterally. Overall the best boot I have ever skied.
