Split Split boot rubbing on binding...

I'm using the Thirty-Two Jones boot and Voile Light Rail bindings. The boots have two hard seasons on them and have developed pretty bad rub areas (see photos).

Spendy boots and need to figure out a solid repair before they get worse. I was thinking barge cement ? Any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks,
Joe

An update.

I headed to Mountain Gear for patches and they walked me out the door and pointed me towards Reesa's (http://www.ressasshoeservice.com) the next block over.

Greg glued and sewed Vibram patches to the rubbing spots. Burly. He charged $60 bucks.

He is currently working on some Burton Driver X's where sheath on the laces pulled from the Dyneema. The fella is a master.
