New Touring ski setup

What is the brake width on the dynafits? I have read that the brakes cannot be swapped out on certain models, so you may want to be careful about the ski width you run with.
Anyone out there please feel free to veto my post if you know otherwise. I'm just going off of my research, not personal experience.
They have 115 wide brakes on them currently. So he will be fine there.
I was also noticing the 109 Synapse G3 carbon.
So many choices!
His current daily driver is the DPS Wailer 99, with the marker touring binding. He loves the Wailer 99, but I am trying to get him to lighten his whole set up including boots. His skis are light, but I hate to see him drill more holes in them to use the Dynafits, and it seems silly to have two pairs of identical skis.

Other than having a setup with tech bindings, what is the goal of this rig? A powder ski or quiver of one? Maybe use this one for powder and his wailer 99s for early/late season missions.
The wailer 112 seems a logical choice if he loves the 99s. I call my Voile V8s "the poor mans DPS" because the specs are so close and they cost half as much! Check out voile's other skis too.

He Bought the 185 Synapse, setting them up with Dynafit Radicals I took off my Bubbas.
As well I decided to sell both of my skis ( armada JJ and Armada Bubbas) and I bought a pair of Voile V6 to use when I ski. I will rob the radicals off the JJ to put on the V6
I much prefer boarding, but I have a daughter that likes it when I ski with her - probably because I suck at skiing and that makes her happy when she can beat old dad!

By sell your JJs do you mean you sold them or they are currently for sale?
