Split Karakorum Clips

If you are thinking about getting the karakorum splitboard clips, Backcountry.com has them in clearance $39.99.
I use then a bit different as I put a Karakorum clip on the tail end, then use the Chinese Hooks on the tip side.
This makes it MUCH easier to put the board together and faster.. especially when its super cold. It also relates to a bit stiffer tail, which I think is more important.

Good idea Larry, but the K clips don't have good overlap of the board halfs, have you seen the prowder cowboy clips?
I'm thinking of getting these AND adding a voile hook at the middle between the binding to stiffen the split seam.

Middle hook would be OK..
K clips work well in the manner I use them, but I would love to try these out. Great when ya buy a set of 2 as it give ya use for 2 boards! ;-)

retracting must be key to keeping them from tangling up as you're skinning right?
