We're stoked we have been invited back! We'll be teaming up with Kevin Davis of IPAC again to talk about avalanche safety, as well as touring opportunities in the area, inviting people to our community and of course sharing our love for the mountains and backcountry skiing/splitboarding.

Last year this event was a blast with the PowderKeg Craft Beer/Cider Festival about 30 feet from our booth. We enjoyed meeting new friends (some of those are active members now!) and getting stoked with old friends. We're looking forward to doing it again!

We hope you will join us, or come out and say hello. We'd love to talk about touring or ideas for the upcoming season.

The event is held in the Spokane Convention Center (closest to the Opera House/INB). Sounds like TGR movies (Further, Almost Ablaze) will play both nights after the event with PowderKeg beers allowed in.

Tickets are $7 ($2 off coupon at Pizza Pipeline) and can be pre-purchased or bought at the door (long lines last year): http://snowlanderexpo.com/tickets/

Any more information you might need: http://snowlanderexpo.com

Looks like you can get $2 off at the door with a 49 Degrees North season pass.. not sure if the same offer extends to the other area resorts or not, but it's worth bringing your pass and trying.

Anyone know the details on the "free" Red Mtn ski passes to the first 2k through the door? All the disclaimers say "restrictions apply." I was just curious if they had handed these out in previous years and what the restrictions may be.

I had a few of them last year that went unused unfortunately. As I recall, the vouchers are good prior to Christmas and then again after mid march. Never made it up there last year due to poor coverage.

Met the panhandle backcountry crew at the show. I couldn't be more stoked for this website. Great resource for us inland skiers. Looking forward to some meeting some new earnyourturners.

Excellent Randy… Thank you, Mike and I hope to make this site even better as we go forward. If you think of something you would like to see, let us know. Mike is a Whiz Kid and makes this all happen!!
Let's get out and tour!! Maybe we can have a First Snow of the Year Panhandle Backcountry tour up Mt Spokane!??? You break trail!! o_O

You got it Larry. Would love to hook up and I'm always game to play snow plow. I tour up at the Kan a couple of times a week. A meet and greet sometime at the beginning of the season would be awesome. Putting names with faces helps. Thanks again for the killer website. Inland tourers unite! :D
