Spring Skiing in the Selkirks?

I'm new to the area and looking for some favorite spring skiing day trips in the selkirks. Maybe a good ski mountianeer trip?

If you don't sled, Kootenay Pass is always a good option. Follow the snow line as the roads melt out above Priest Lake. Call the ranger districts to see where logging operations have plowed roads into the high country. Check spring trip reports (from years past) on this website for other ideas.

Yup.. What Matmster's said. There are plenty of good spots as the roads melt.. but it's a time thing.
Easiest local until then is West Willow.. Depending on ability and avalanche savy you are, deeper into Stevens PK or St Regis basin..

Have a sled.. options are insane!
