With so little snow around here recently, I knew I shouldn't read about other places with a bunch of pure powder. I enjoyed (link below) the Outside article about Niseko Resort in Japan and wanted to share. They average 6 inches of fresh EVERY day. I just might have to burn some airline miles to make this a reality next year. It looks like they have a decent amount of backcountry available if you want or need.

Enjoy the day dreaming until the powder returns!!!

Here's something for ya… I know the owner of this company, JP Martin, he's actually on this site as Gentem-USA.
He runs trips over there that include guided backcountry!! Someday I plan on going!! If you were to decide to go… Let him know you are on here and know me.
