Will be traveling to Eugene this weekend and looking for some places not far off the road I could get some turns in. Can drive through Portland or Bend area depending on places to ski, conditions, etc. Do y’all have any recommendations? Not looking for anything too special, just something I can get a few laps on. Thanks!

Hey Chris,
There won't be anything to ski by way of Portland. Taking the route south from Hood River would give you Coopers Spur, otherwise drop down on US-97. From Central Oregon there are some areas, I'll note it's about 7-8hrs drive.
I'd suggest a Google search for the best areas. I've been told of skinning off the highway at Santiam Pass HWY 126 to Eugene.
REgardless, beautiful drive that way instead of P-town..
