Yup... Ya know it's coming.. Copious amounts over the next 3 days.
Just beware... there will be a nasty layer of surface hoar getting buried. Some high winds will be joining this next system, so expect wind loading on the N, E and NE aspects for sure.
Looks like we get super cold through Christmas, which will lend to some great touring conditions! It will still be a bit sharky out there though!

Looks like the forecast is ever changing... originally all next week after Christmas was to be just cold and clear.
Chance of snow almost every day except the day after Christmas.

Be sure to check the IPAC site for avy info. Looks pretty touch out there right now.

"Some of what we had to contend with yesterday. The surface hoar is everywhere and affecting slopes that haven’t slid in recent memory (think 30+ years). Multitude of naturals, remotes, and sympathetic releases throughout the day and with current weather, the pack won’t be changing any time soon. Currently 13 on top with a moderate to strong WNW wind that should be backing to the SW. slight chance of light pro graphic snow next 24 hours and cold through the weekend. Be extremely careful out there if you go and expect to see activity."
