Moon Pass, Hoodoo Pass

Moon is now open. Hoodoo isn't plowed by the FS, generally by loggers or an outfitter. Call Superior RD for updates, but I doubt it's open yet (69" at the snotel).
Gold Pass (Little Joe Rd) wasn't plowed last year as far as I know. I didn't think there was much to ski up there anyways, unless you want to traverse the ridge. If you end up calling the ranger please post what you find out.

If you went to Gold Pass during winter you could ski east aspect of Flat Top. Nice open slopes, just need a sno-mo to get in there.
Once the road is plowed we managed to ski some short shots. There is a side road just on the west side of the pass on the North side of Gold Pass road and the only skiable terrain we found is just north of this side road, hiked all over Flat Top which is aptly named looking for skiable terrain.

Saw Hoodoo Pass is still blocked by snow on a FS road report. "Expected to melt out mid-June"

I have been curious myself.
I am still wondering about Gold Pass too but haven't had time to get up there or check with anyone.
I suppose a call to Scheffey's in Avery might get a person some info.
