Bald Mountain / Point 6002 / Sandpoint

Anyone know best way to access Point 6002 (SSW of Bald Mountain summit) (and accompanying ~1000 ft of open vert) from Baldy Mountain? Is it sled up the forest road? Or is the only good way to do this via Schweitzer triple and traversing across? Been thinking about this line for a while coming across the long bridge. Also, if anyone's hit this and has other advice please let me know. Thanks
