Quite popular right from the pass, but I haven't made it there yet. There is some beta online if you google it though, mostly put up by folks out of Missoula.

Don't know about touring but when we stopped at hot springs several years ago in the summer it sucked. Probably had something to do with time of year I'm guessing.
