Looking for a patient partner to tour with! 8month post of ACL repair

Hey guys, Im trying to get up the nerve to get out and get touring this winter and possible some easy turns. I blew my ACL Xmas day last year hucking cliffs skiing (not happening for a while now:)) and had it replaced in March 2016. I wont lie, I'm a nervous Nancy to get out there. But I know some touring and some easy turn would be good for my confidence. I have been strength training hard, swimming, trail running, and beat on it really good racing mtn bikes from July through the end of the season. I am on full release from PT and to return to normal activities. I'm more than physically capable of doing it, its just the brain keeping me very timid.
That's said, I realize Im a liability in the backcountry and need to be with someone that is OK with that. Beyond that I am confident in the BC and a capable skier, enjoy bringing my dog with me, and like to think a fun guy to tour with. I am located in Pullman, WA. Happy to travel and always grateful for those who want to earn their turns to happy to carpool or cook you dinner in return for being patient with someone trying to regain their confidence on the sticks that broke me. In the mean time I'll be touring the wheat fields and Freezeout till I find someone to party with!
Thanks!
Max

Had a blast that day we toured at lookout with Larry and Mike! Remember the sled incident? Haha! I'm up for it any time!

Brandon,
Heck yes I remember that day! Hands down one of the best days in BC I've had. I hope Larry's sledding skills have improved since then;) I really want to get back out there and have been training as such. It's all in my head at this point. Will suss that out tomorrow:)

Greg,
It's outside Clarkia, ID. Depending on road conditions and if their logging up there will determine how far up the Road you can get. Otherwise easy fire road walk/skin in, just long.

Cool, let me know what you find and maybe we can meet up there some time this winter. I usually do the Burke or Lookout Pass routes and I'm usually free Fri-Mon and happy to take it easy on day tours (unless it's a big dump :)

Saturday was a total success. Toured 3 miles and road skied chopped up sled tracked chunky roads out (ie I believe crappy road skiing is harder to ski than powder;)) without any issues. If anything turned around to soon. It's on! Trying to setup a Burke canyon trip for Saturday or Sunday. Anyone want to get out??? Will be doing a long wheat field tour this afternoon around Pullman for anyone in the area.
