Split Gecko skins

Anybody tried these?
I have been using G3 skins, never had a problem with them adhering to the board or getting snow between the skin and the board.
Yesterday was my first time trying the Geckos.
I had a lot of trouble with the snow migrating between the board and the skin starting from the inside edge of the front of the board/ski.
The first time I noticed it I completely removed the skin and made really sure there was no moisture on the skin or on the board.
This lasted about 300 feet and then it started again, the other ski/board skin also started getting snow in it right after i redid the first one.
Never had this happen with G3 skins.
If anyone has had Geckos, did you have this issue and if so were you able to fix them?

Seems okay for light duty but not something I'd trust away from the resorts.

I may try them again, but at this point i think they were a waste of money.

Good to know… I'll admit, I love my G3's.. I have a brand new pair sitting here for over 1 1/2yrs as I have not needed to open them up.

Went back to my G3 skins. Yesterday was not ideal for putting skins on and off - snowing the whole time. So it was pretty hard to keep them snow/ moisture free.
Bottom line, i had absolutely no trouble at all with the skins staying on the boards.
In comparison, the Geckos were used in ideal conditions / not snowing, temps in the mid 30s, put on completely moisture free - twice, and they stil were coming off the boards in a short distance.
Definitely junking the Geckos.
